Open access journals

From Cognitive Daily comes the Directory of Open Access Journals.

They have 42 journals in their geology section. Worth a look.

unfortunately, the only mineralogy one of the lot is only published in Japanese...

Definitely a bummer. It looks like the abstracts and figure captions of the articles are in English though.

Did you know that pre-2003 issues of American Mineralogist are open access?
