MIT Scientists Confirm That Earth's Core is "Really, Really Hot"
According to this article, from China's Xinhua news agency, the Earth's core is officially "really, really hot." Apparently, it was previously only "really hot." Yes, those are in fact technical terms.

I knew that already, having watched The Core, maybe the most ridiculous disaster movie ever made this side of Volcano. Are we sure these guys didn't just watch The Core?
The sad thing is that Xinhua is a much, much better (albeit slightly less entertaining) news source than the North Korean official news agency, KCNA.
